  1. Hot takes abound, my fave was the “nba scout” who said Russ should retire.

But starting him over Murray is just as nuts. Knees won’t hold up. He is the perfect PG2 for this team – cheap, firey, and defensive minded.

His shooting streak isn’t going to last but it sure is fun to watch. And damn, is he a big improvement over RJ.

Now can we get 2-3 quality ring chasers to join the roster on the cheap in the buyout market to replace DJ, Saric and Pickett? C’mon NBA vets, can’t you see you can inflate your stats and compete for a ring as Joker’s valet?

  2. We can’t turn on Blue Arrow that fast. Give the man another season to turn it around. Especially with how old Russ is, you think Jamal is made of glass? Look at how Harden, Butler, George, Kawhi are holding up and they are all from the same era as Russ and making a shit ton more money to play every night and every single one of them is broken to pieces. We know Jamal will continue to hit game winners at the very least in clutch time, so he needs to start as the *young-blood* at PG.

  3. I’ve loved the idea of Russ being on our team since Jokic openly asked for him. To see him struggle and start playing better makes me so happy especially w the media trashing him every chance they get. Hopefully he keeps it up

  4. Russ fits better with the starting unit

Murray is injury prone while Russ is turning 36, they can share minutes to help avoid injuries and fatique for both

  5. Russ is going to let Jamal be fresher for the playoffs, to a higher degree than expected.

  6. Like how it took time for russ to start gelling with Jok, I think its worth trying to make russ murray and jok work together at the same time
