  1. I hate watching him hit like no other, but I can’t deny he brings the good vibes to this team.

  2. Hedgie love that you’re back and you live your dream of never hitting another HR again for your career

  3. Love that he’s back, but how does this work? Does the FO believe in Bo as an every day catcher next year? Fry won’t be able to play in the field at all next year so this means Hedges is going to get a lot of run.

  4. At every single turn, the team, the front office, the coaching staff, and even the beat reporters, have talked about how important Austin Hedges was to this team. You can say he isn’t worth a roster spot, but everyone actually involved said he’s more than worth one. This was a no brainer.

  5. Jesus the dude can’t fucking hit for shit. Just call it a day & become a catching coach lol. I know ima get downvoted into hell though

  6. I think his value to the team is something that will never be able to be truly understood by anyone other than the people in the locker room and running the team

  7. I don’t even care that he can’t hit because he’s a tremendous catcher and we need one now that we’re without Fry for a while

  8. I’m glad we signed him, but I don’t like what the batting coaches told him, “Just close your eyes and swing….”
