  2. They are poppies a symbol of remembrance for global remembrance day. Or the US Veterans Day

  3. Honoring world war 1 veterans. In Flanders after the war was over, poppies started growing on the battlefields and they became a symbol for Remembrance Day.

  4. It’s for Remembrance Day in Canada on Nov 11th. The poppies are to symbolize the poem “In Flanders Field” that talks about WW1. Though it was started to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom in WW1, it now encompasses all those who have and continue to give their lives. 🌺

Edit: November 11th is celebrated throughout all or most of the commonwealth countries.

  5. I thought poppies were a Canadian thing. Do Americans wear them too? (Serious question, I’m from Canada)
