This will be one of the few things I blame Irsay for. The tension of CB being on the hot seat has probably trickled down to the coaches bc most of the time in situations like this they clean house. CB should’ve been gone with Reich. I think CB is an above average GM but the way he has handled the QB situation alone is enough to get you fired. If Pat Mahomes retired at the end of the year I can assure you KC would be all in on getting a new QB in the draft and not veteran stop gaps for 3 years
The colts he played for have been gone for a long time. I was 6 when they won the Super Bowl.
They made you coach without any experience and you’re questioning if this team has a plan? This man gotta be fucking with us
The plan should’ve been let him sit for a year to rework his mechanics/learn to play. He wasn’t ready to start
The Colts Jeff played for was run by Polian. The Irsays are back at the reigns.
I wonder if Irsay believes he’s not long for this world and wants another ring before he dies more than he cares about the team being handled right.
Didn’t Saturday randomly start Matt Ryan in his first game as head coach?
Edit: I could have swore he said Ehlinger would start and then trotted Matt Ryan out there out of the blue against the Raiders and for the next few games.
I swear Saturday was on Get Up dragging AR after he went out for a play. What a switch up
BURN THE BINDER!
He said the opposite a week ago. Saturday is a great coach and nfl mind clearly…
I agree. If you draft a player as a project, you have to stick with the plan. Otherwise it will be a wasted draft pick. Benching him demonstrates a lack of vision and direction. I want the colts to win of course. But a short term 1st round playoff exit won’t be worth anything if the longterm prospects are bleak.
He’s 100% right. This organization has no direction and it’s pathetic
Or maybe Anthony Richardson just isn’t a good QB. Like he’s just not…. Sunk cost fallacy
Saturday also went on to say, he though AR would be benched a game for disciplinary reasons and then return to the job.
I agreed with this stand at the time.
“I tanked for you to draft this man, and you’ve already given up on him?”
