The first great news I’ve heard all day.
Really opened up the checkbook I see
great, there goes all our money
To coach, right?
Couldn’t we just pay him to coach ?
Highest paid back up catcher in the league?
Worst news I’ve seen all day. Cash strapped franchise wastes $4 million on the worst hitting player in the league. But hey, at least he’s slightly worse defensively than our other guy!
World Series here we come!!!
Who needs starting pitching when we got Hedges!
It’s nice to have him back but please tell me this isn’t our only move. Extend Kwan, resign Bieber or Boyd.
I, too, enjoy deep playoff runs.
Literally Jameis Winston.
Love Hedgie. He brings something to the clubhouse that is unquantifiable, and yet entirely essential. It’s called VIBES
Same money as last year. Nice signing, especially with Fry unable to catch in 25.
No issue with them signing him but without a catcher to take hold of the starting role which Naylor did not, the Guards will have Hedges in their starting lineup more than they should. He’s basically an automatic out.
To make a comparison, Austin Barnes of the Dodgers did not get on plate appearance throughout the whole playoff run even though he hit a commendable 260.
Ugh just bring him on as a coach that’s it
This guy is the ultimate Captain personality type in Out of The Park Baseball. Probably closest thing I’ll get to see to a player manager… besides LeBron.
Naylor is the future.
Damn, I thought we would get Soto instead.
$4 million is nothing, he is more valuable as a player than just a coach and there was something different with the 2023 team and I think no Hedges had a lot to do with that.
It is fine, and I am glad to see it
His presence is worth it. But please hit above .200!
Now we can compete with those big spending yankees. Lol
Definitely Shane Bieber approved this. 🙂
If I’d have known I could make 4mil by bringing immaculate vibes and being a prop in the box, I would have kept playing in high school. really missed my calling.
