  1. I keep telling you, as long as Cora is around we know that this club is not serious about winning. He’s the bellwether. When gets fired, then we can assume that ownership cares about this team getting better.

  2. * Showing interest
    * plans to be active
    * laying the groundwork
    * clear-eyed and ambitious
    * widespread sense
    * expected to make a push

    So many ways to say absolutely nothing. This is a masterclass on gobbledygook. But I expect that from professional communicators.

    But I’m really disappointed there no “concepts of a plan” here.

  3. Incoming some shitty catcher , a reliever I’ve never heard of , and like Robbie Grossman or something

  4. Guys you can skip the speculation – I have the offseason right here:

    “Sources say the Red Sox are close to bringing back Bobby Dalbec on a team friendly deal.”

    “The Red Sox have offered Tyler O’Neill a 6-year deal worth $12,000”

    “Tyler O’Neill has signed with the Dodgers”

    “The Red Sox FO and coaching staff believe the current roster can compete – Josh Winckowski has re-entered the rotation”

  5. Cue Werner’s dumbass cracking voice “You know I think the reports of us “Showing interest and laying the groundwork for our plans to be active with clear eyes and ambition” was clearly taken out of context and it’s really the fans’ fault for not understanding what we really meant.
