Punching an umpire would get you 50 games at least these days. Probably a full season with required anger management or something before being reinstated.
Babe Ruth was an OG.
It would be an indefinite suspension with reinstatement requirements that would take at least a year.

a random mid level talent pitcher: probably a very lengthy suspension possibly a full season.
Ohtani: a small fine, maybe a couple games
Seeing as we are talking about Babe Ruth, but its before he was fully the star he turned into Id imagine something like a month maybe more.
That’s gotta be a full season right? If he doesn’t get arrested for assault. I don’t think it equals out to what would happen if it was a conflict between players – that umpire is an employee who was subjected to assault and that represents a significant legal risk for the league. Someone is getting sued for sure. They would throw the book to protect themselves. A significant suspension, public apology, charity donation as a set of expectations minimum.
Unfortunately I do agree to some degree with the other poster that said Ohtani would get less. Stars probably get less than scrubs.
