New Orleans Saints Enter Post-Dennis Allen Era With New Look Under Darren Rizzi

New Orleans Saints Enter Post-Dennis Allen Era With New Look Under Darren Rizzi

With Dennis Allen fired, the New Orleans Saints are a new-look team with Darren Rizzi at the helm. Marshon Lattimore traded away, Alontae Taylor leads the cornerbacks, players are in new positions, coaches are in new roles and the Saints are ready to see how the change all pay off against the Atlanta Falcons, who are riding high in the NFC South.

The Saints’ new building blocks for their future like Dallin Holker, Anfernee Orji, Alontae Taylor, Jordan Howden and others are about to be on full display. While struggles are likely, this game against the Falcons becomes a premier opportunity to prove their value to the team moving forward that’s looking to make changes. What are the appropriate expectations for the Saints going up against the Atlanta Falcons? Expect the team to be competitive, but the win or loss result may not be the most important element of the game.

  1. Dennis Allen didn’t like Kendre Miller for some reason. Kendre and Turner with the same issues but Allen was very negative about Kendre saying that’s a player that needs to figure out how to stay on the field. Turner on the team for 3 years and barely spent any time on the field because of injuries but Allen says that he has good potential and he’s working on getting back, he’ll be fine.

  2. Ross please stop it. This is not the new look Saints. It's the same team with a interim coach. Maybe next season we can bounce back. But this year is over. I hope we get a top 5 pick and rebuilt.
