Still hate those defensive pairings though – as much as I love Ryan Lindgren and his warrior’s spirit he is nowhere close to good enough to get top pair minutes anymore and we also have mountains of evidence at this point that the Miller-Trouba pairing is a disaster.
Been waiting to see Kreids and Tro together given their previous chemistry They played great with Vesey last year, so it should be pretty good with Smith too.

Why the hell are they breaking up Trocheck, Panarin, and Laffy? It’s clearly been the top line both all of last year and this year too. Mika is making Panarin and Laffy worse!

Why not just go back to the original lines but move 10-16-13 to line 1, 24-72-50 to line 2 and 20-93-91 to line 3.

All of this shuffling is being done so that 93 can stay the 1C. Seems dumb to me.

Fox and Schneider are alone. Miller is terrible consistently. Lindgren has lost a few steps. Trouba just doesn’t have the legs. Jones alone isn’t making this d core all of a sudden amazing even if we do sub out lindgren forever. Who cares? As long as miller and Trouba are on the back end we’re fucked!
Minor tweaks? Last night was a disgrace
Miller Trouba is so fukin stupid. They are awful together. How many Tod in the playoffs last year do you need to see to realize they cannot be paired together? If I know it and I am just a fan, how the fuck doesn’t lavolette know it? Jesus Christ!!
Just give 10-16-13 line the most minutes followed by 50-72-24. Make the Mika line earn the time again, and please replace Mika with Laf on PP1.
Other than Chytil, our C situation is bad this year.
Panarin and Laf need to be separated. Laf does not defend well enough on the right wing to make up for Panarin’s lack of defense.
10/16/13 scored at .26 per 60 more than the kid line did the previous year. 10/16/13 just played 330 minutes more, which breaks down to 1 more goal.
At least we have one line that we know is really good. Too bad they’re listed as our third line again…
