[Leafs] The MapleLeafs have placed F Auston Matthews on IR (retroactive to November 3).
F Connor Dewar has been recalled from LTIR conditioning loan and activated from LTIR.
>Auston Matthews has been placed on injured reserve by the Leafs, which guarantees that he’ll miss tomorrow’s game against Montreal. There’s been no setback in his recovery. The IR move is about roster management.
Super interested to see his deployment and who the odd man out will be once everyone is healthy.
So Auston is pretty much guaranteed not to be back until at the earliest next week. That’s fine. Get Matty right and give him the time he needs!
Does that mean Dewar will be back in tonight or tomorrow?

Makes sense if he can’t go this weekend get Dewar in, and then you can activate him Monday anyways
