  1. I would go with Ronnie Lott. 7 All-Pros (including 1st team his rookie year) and 10 Pro Bowls. Willis is a very close 2nd.

  2. Frank Gore. I’m sorry but I cannot picture anyone else. That workhorse was the heart of our modern era team

  3. I’d say Patrick Willis, but since we don’t seem to be including “Great” then maybe he’s become too good since he’s HOF now?

  4. Patrick Willis. Came in as one of the LBs in league, left as one of the best LBs in the league.

  5. Willis might be the pick here bc he never left and went to another team or really declined.

  6. Patrick Willis, Navarro Bowman, Frank Gore, Ronnie Lott, or Roger Craig. They’re all worthy choices.

  7. Patrick Willis. As a Rookie was defensive rookie of the year and an All Pro. Finished his career as a HOF.

  8. P Willy. Defensive rookie of the year, made the Pro Bowl every year in the league. Now in the HOF

  9. Patrick willis. Rookie DPO, 5x 1st team all pro, 1 2nd team all pro, 2x solo and combined tackle leader

  10. This one has to be Patrick Willis.

All pro ILB as a rookie.

All pro every year in his prime.

All pro his last full season in the league and was on all pro pace before getting hurt his last year.

  11. Willis. Rice was good and he’s a legend but his final years weren’t as good as the rose colored glasses we put on to remember him.

P-Willy, though, was outstanding from him rookie season until he retired. He also never played for another team like Rice did.
