So many good qbs in that era and they are all overshadowed by the Brady.
I think the stat was the AFC super bowl rep was either Brady, Manning or Ben for about a decade.
The Mike Williams catch in the end zone is forever gold
Had to hit mute rq on this one lol
Who?
“He was fucking those cameramen up” facts lol
Thank you for this. Big Ben is absolutely criminally underrated and under appreciated. Dude played the position like no one else before and no one else since. Ok, so not as next level as Brady and Manning. Fine. But he went toe to toe with those dudes for over a decade. So maybe he wasn’t the best on paper, but on the field, he’d be my QB1 every goddamn day. My favorite QB of all time.
My son and I were just watching Stillers highlights and I forgot how Big Ben could sling. With AB was crazy
He was simply not a very good playoff QB throughout his career. He had some heroic moments like in 43 and the games leading up to 40, but overall he was pedestrian. Led a lot of sub 20-point performances, especially on the back end of his career. (And don’t give me that ‘he scored 40 points against the jaguars.’ Yeah, the game was in garbage time in the first half and they were having prayers answered on 4th down because they couldn’t move the ball on the first three downs.)
I miss 7 so much
That pump fake was HELL!
I really miss having those deep throws down field with the anticipation of what’s going to happen. The scrambling. The tackle shrugs. He was never the best qb. But he was 1 of a fucking kind
Only way to get Ben down was to go for the ankles. Any higher than that and he’ll shake it off like T swift. He’ll always be my favorite QB.
He would probably appreciate you spelling his name correctly
He was a True iron Man
Mike Wallace TD against the Packers is a core memory for me.
Just google it, brother. Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V.
We always had a chance when we were down by a TD or less with 2:00 remaining. He was clutch in a lot of games.
I seem to have forgotten just how elusive big man was
Remember how you’ve felt these last few years. About how the defense was good, and if we just had a QB we could be a contender. Remember what it was like to take him for granted.
And then wait for that feeling again after Tomlin retires.
It’s so hard knowing that SB 43 was the highest it would ever get. So many blown opportunities. Still, easy 1st ballot HOF. Top 15-20 all time
