The Trop With No Roof (like 3 parts stayed during hurricane and got removed)

  1. Anyone know what their plan is for 2025?

April will be here before you know it

Buffalo would gladly welcome another homeless MLB team, biggest stadium in the minor leagues

  2. Honestly what stopping them from just playing like this?

Obviously there will be rainouts and it will be hot but most days they should be able to play. Unless it’s unsafe structurally it feels like the best option.

  3. So what’s it look like on the inside? People mention it has no drainage, but I’m sure it’s rained since the hurricane, so how are they dealing with the water?

  4. Could Al Lang be used again? Know it would require a refit back to baseball and would affect the Rowdies, but at least they are also owned by the same Rays owner

  5. so…shit inside is just gonna get rained on all winter too, right? That whole stadium is going to be weatherbeaten by spring

  6. Move to Hartford you cowards – just think of the money you’d save not flying to NY and Boston

  7. It’s a landmark, you can’t deny that. You see a building like that, you’re gonna friggin’ remember it.

  8. There’s gotta be a lot of water damage in there if it had no drainage system. As a new homeowner I am super vigilant about water and you would be surprised how fast it can fuck up something that isn’t intended to be wet.

  9. Haha losers. You all said the Trop was the ugliest indoor stadium ever.

Well it’s even uglier without a roof.
