Lou Williams admits he was wrong when saying KAT is more skilled than Jokic

  1. All he had to say would be “KAT is a much better shooter than Jokic” and he would have been fine and made a legit point.

  2. A lot of ex nba players don’t deserve a platform to talk about the league. They come across as dumber than the average parlay underdog fantasy reply guy

  3. Stop the hate. Lou was talking about KAT more skilled in Call of Duty than Jokic.

  4. It took a day for him to realize Jokic is better than KAT? Was he not watching basketball the past 4-5 years?

  5. This is actually one of the most likeable monologues I’ve heard in a while. Just humorously admitting “whoops” is always such a likeable energy in this day and age.

  6. Jokic to me is already a top 10 player of all time… i dont think thats a hot take either

  7. I wonder why he made such a wild take against the 3X mvp. Surely he couldn’t have been racially motivated at all😂😂😂 him and perk are wild with the jokic hate

  8. Bro probably didn’t have his lemon pepper wings that day.

I know I’m different when I don’t have my strip club cuisine.

  9. It says a lot that a media personality admitting they’re wrong about a minuscule comment is news bc nobody does it.

  10. A lot to unpack here.

Lou Williams admits he’s wrong because Jokic beat OKC with cartoon numbers… That was it? One game? Does he not know Jokic does this on a daily basis? For the last 3-4 years?

  11. Didn’t a few days ago, Austin Rivers, the guy that Jokic carried to win a series vs Portland and a game against the 2022 Warriors said that KAT is a better offensive player than Jokic?

  12. Does anyone seriously watch this shitacular show? Fanduel is everything that’s wrong with the NBA right now, and Lemon Pepper Lou isn’t helping.

  13. Caught this show for the first time yesterday. Chandler parsons is a bit much but I thought lou was perfect for this kind of show.

  14. got a love Lou, he’s a real one. admitting to a mistake on air, …rarified air.

  15. At least he admitted he was wrong. It took Kellerman like 6 years to midlly admit he was wrong about his Tom Brady falling off a cliff theory? And guys like Perkins and Stephen A have said some stupid shit too, and they just end up doubling down most of the time after it’s clear they were wrong. But that’s what sports discourse has become now – say something controversial for engagement and rage bait even if you dont believe it.

  16. No shit Sherlock, Jokic is by far the best player right now in the league, Kat is an amazing talent but Jokic has the hardware to show his impact.

  17. To be real, I’m not sure if players fully understand what a difference in perception that makes. I never had anything against Lou Will, but my respect for him just skyrocketed. Humility, to me, is one of the most valued traits in people. Especially among professional athletes or celebrities. Yea, it was a pretty awful and tired take, but to admit you’re wrong like that on television and accept “defeat”, as it were, is very respectable.

  18. While it probably wasn’t too hard to see how wrong he was, being able to say – “I was wrong, I was trippin” is difficult for a lot of people to do in their own lives, let alone on tv even if they know damn well they were wrong.

    Props, Lou.

  19. Shits all guns nd games trying to make headlines until people start thinking you’re ACTUALLY on drugs.. lol

  20. lmao I love how we’re clowning on him for realizing his mistake too quickly

gotta wait a while so you can pull the “I was a different person when I made those comments”

  21. im a fan of lou will as a player but im don’t hearing him talk about basketball when he says they lost in the bubble on purpose

  22. The more skilled debate is just dumb in general because no one can any define it. Like Kyrie is more skilled than Steph because we don’t count pulling up for god dam near half court as a skill or something.

  23. That’s the problem with all the sports podcasts and other social media sports talk these days. They’re just riffing 😂

  24. Is anyone today more skilled than Jokic?

Besides Steph I can’t think of anyone that’s in the conversation

  25. “That was a wild take, and I take responsibility for my wild take, and I was tripping.”

If we all had the strength to say this more often the world would be a better place
