Honorable Mention to Mike McCarthy, who narrowly lost to Eddie Lacy yesterday. Started bad and ended OK for day 4?

  1. Jarrett Bush. Was a liability on defense to start, but then became a solid special teams guy and got an interception in the Super Bowl.

  2. I feel that Tony Mandarich would fit this too but only if the picture were him in a Colts jersey.

  3. Bryan Bulaga allowed a league high 12 sacks his rookie year, I would say he ended better than just okay though

  4. Probably won’t be liked due to technicality, but could Jordy be in this one? Started only 2 games in his first two seasons, played in 29 games, 55 receptions on 85 targets (64.7% catch rate), but for only 686 yards (366 yards his first season, 320 his second). 2 TDs per season

Last season with us played 15 games, 53 receptions for only 482 yards. 6 TDs. I say technicality as this was Rodgers collarbone injury season so he had Brett Hundley throwing to him most of the season.

But also yea not sure if it’s a “bad” start, and it also underplays how good he was from 2010 to 2016 (-2015 because ACL)

  5. Nick Perry. Was a complete disappointment for a while but near the end was a perfectly average edge rusher

  6. Allen Lazard? It took him a while to finish okay. Other mention would be Sean Ryan but that’s a very now answer.

  7. Bryan Bulaga, Bahk had the WORST starts. I remember being PISSED at those two for a lot of holdings/ sacks. That being said, has to be Nick Perry

  8. Blake Martinez.

Started off a massive liability in the run game and in pass coverage, but ended up being a really solid LB in the run game and meh in coverage. Led the NFL in tackles a couple years.

  9. James Jones. He had a ton of drops early then became very reliable tho not a #1 receiver.

  10. MVS.

Started so bad but by the end he could at least catch the ball. Totally understand if it’s a reach to call him okay though lol
