  1. Neat, find a good partner so I can actually watch the games without a VPN/sailing the seven seas.

  2. So, by my read, this puts the Reds in sole possession of the FS Ohio/Bally’s/FanDuel channel. The Reds could try to negotiate carriage rights for the channel or go to MLB. Critically, this put the Reds back in control of their own streaming rights, and likely will allow them to move to MLB.tv.

  3. Do we get to keep Sadak, Welsh, LeCure, Sabo, Larkin, Day, and Giesenschlag? We have a great crew, despite the complaints that come for Larkin. He’s getting better too, and he’s much better than many of the broadcast crews around MLB, speaking as someone who lives out of market and watches other teams on MLB.TV periodically.

I love Cowboy too– just figure he isn’t going anywhere no matter what.

  4. The MLB should really force all teams to be broadcast on local channels. More viewers, more ad money, better and more honorable income than dealing with a shitty bankrupt casino. The NFL manages to still make money

  5. I hope they call Apple TV, Amazon or another streaming service. Get the Reds games in 4K and available on every device I own. The old way of distributing your games through cable television is outdated. Get a streaming deal and then sell your rights to whatever cable channel you can get to pick up your games.

  6. Hopefully MLB just picks them up and does blackout free like the other teams that’ve gone to MLB.
