  1. This will be the 70th time Ovechkin and Crosby play against each other in an NHL regular-season game.

    Pittsburgh is 40-25-4 in those 69 games.
    Washington is 29-30-10.

  2. You know… I’m pretty sure the reason neither have gone anywhere is because the other is still around and the only way they’re retiring is when one of them gets too injured to play and the other will refuse to resign 

  3. This has got to be the most manufactured “rivalry” in sports history.

    It seems to me that they both have respect for each other and don’t spend any time worrying about comparing themselves to the other. The biggest rival of either one of them is just history at this point, and it’s been that way for a while.
