Vinny was and will always be my fav player
I have noticed that every player who gets a good deal they have poor playing habits the following year. Look at Nurse, big over payment, and he is not worth it. They play better with less money! Is it because they can't adjust to the increase, or do they think they can slack off??? I loved Vinny big time!
Reminds of how Van picked up Randy Gregg back in the day, having no idea his playing days were over. Perhaps Van is taking a page from McTavish, where you way overpay a player and then think that player will be able to play way better then he ever has and earn that gross overpayment. That never ever works.
Vinny got exposed in playoffs. Too slow. He's a PK specialist.
