My thoughts …
Damn, it feels good to see Turbo punch a couple nets. He works so hard, and (like Gourde) the goals just haven’t been coming. This deuce feels huge.
Gourde was everywhere. He always is, but he made a real impact on this one.
And Joey, once again, played incredible.
We have to clean up the defense, but the offense was really clicking in the first two periods.
The Knights came hard and left with a point, but the two we grabbed feel bigger than the one we gained on them.
Canner came in clutch. Is he back to his sniping ways? We need it.
Eberle and Beniers might not show up on the score sheet, but their skill was really shining through when they had the puck. It’s good to have that skill on the squad.
