  1. I think Joel nailed exactly what is wrong with the OL. These vets have been taken care of and are not taking to coaching and going through the motions. IMO, the guys last year were hungry, the guys this year with better talent Nick took care of and the fire is not there, that was there last year.

  2. "We have to be better." No shit Sherlock…he needs to be gone. Not sure if it's the scheme or just crappy players, but this is on Casserio too. We let Deiter and Fant walk in the offseason, and we went from mediocre (which, at this point, I would love) to hot garbage, bad. We let them walk and had no backup plan in case Kenyon sucked. In previous years that he wasn't injured, he was really bad, so why not have a back plan. Casserio really screwed up by ignoring this massive question mark. The O-Line is the most critical position group in football. All that money was spent, and he didn't shore up the line. If the quarterback has no time, it doesn't matter who the wide receivers are.

  3. Strausser said the issue was technique, well your the o-line coach, if the technique is sloppy, then clean it up! Stunts is not about being a great 1 on 1 protector, it is about identifying the stunt and communicating with the guy next to you. The stunt involves 2 defensive players! Strausser couldn’t fix the run blocking since last year, and now the interior pass protection has regressed. Jesus, you can’t even get your guys to stay in front of rushers to even slow them down. He lost all credibility when he said Kenyon was doing good…..if that’s your idea of good, you should go back to coaching peewe football.

  4. Go see if Mike Munchak or Bruce Matthews have a few days to hang out show what being Mean does for a O-Line !! Oilers had some very good Offenses and Defenses when they were here I grew up watching it all . These two guys were the Heart of those Offenses .
