offseason should we not cut rankins, hubbard, stone, and cappa and use that to resign tee and bj hill? Draft trenches hard and pick up good safety. Why keep non playmakers and lose Tee that does make an impact when he is in.
I'm a Ravens fan and I feel for you guys. Both games could have gone either way. I still think the Bengals can make the playoffs. They are a terrific team that has had some bad breaks. Burrow and Chase are amazing. Good luck going forward I hope we don't see you again.

THEY LOVE PLAYING TO NOT LOSE when they get a lead. 21-7, instead of Joe passing and keeping up the momentum, they run back to back with an exhausted Chase Brown with sore ribs, and he fumbles. 3rd and 2, they went long, 4th and 2 they went long, when all day long, they were getting first downs and moving the chains, to make it a FG option, or potentially score again. 2nd half, the Defense, was getting lit up, forcing all the proceeding non-scores to require the forced go for 2, instead of 1, because they were terrified of Lamar with 38 seconds and 2 time outs. The coaching is miserable at best.

On the flip side, the Bengals got a dubious defensive holding call on the 4th and goal to set up their 1st TD.
I'm still not sure how Iosivas' 4th down 'catch' stood. He very clearly did not survive the ground, no matter where the nose of the football was.
Gesicki's wasn't a penalty bc he wasn't held, he was routinely jammed inside 5 yards from los by 2 smaller men. He chose to put his effort into baiting a false call instead of fighting through contact. Throwing an arm up and flopping to the ground doesn't consitute a flag.
Just because the last no-call was against the Bengals, it doesn't mean it was the only no-call.
It all starts at mini camp getting in shape learning to block and tackle bags and sleds to the preseason games. Mini Camp – are they getting in shape ? If so, why can't they play a 60 minute game ? are they learning the playbook ? if so, why all the confusion from players and why coaches call in plays so late to Burrow that they have to burn T.O's.. Preseason Games – most starters simply don't play or they don't play enough to find a rhythm so due to that all the above (no blocking, no tackling, confusion players and coaches, not 60 minutes in shape) they are not ready to start the regular season. All the mistakes you see game 1 of the regular season are the mistakes that should happen in the preseason. It's not that this team can't block, hit and tackle because their college tape or previous teams video prove they can do all that but these Bengal coaches are not training them to be attackers on either side of the ball. Lou Anarumo coaches to retreat running backwards giving up double wide zone pass lanes and Zac Taylor is the only head coach I've ever seen to call a timeout icing his own kicker before his field goal attempt and that in itself explains to confusion calling in plays late, subbing players in late… wasting timeouts…
A bad mini camp and lack of preseason game time extends into the regular season with poor play and you start in the hole playing catch up the rest of the year. It's not just a front office problem but you can question if the Bengals don't want to invest their money with new players or resigning player like Tee Higgins if they don't trust Zac Taylor or Lou Anarumo.
