  1. This is so similar to the first season of the clippers “big 3”. Where you’re 10 games in and wondering… I just dont think we’re ever gonna see all 3 of them on the court at the same time.

  2. We’ll still probably make the play-in at least but it doesn’t change the fact that for now this is a fucking embarassing look

  3. Caleb Martin shoots better contested than wide open. I think because he has a weird 2 part jumper that’s super flat it hits front rim a lot if he doesn’t jump high. When he’s contested he actually jumps higher because he has to and releases at the apex of his shot. Whoever the shooting coach is needs to tell him to get as high as possible and stop thinking about his motion before shooting.

  4. Disappointed with Nick Nurse at this point.

    Buried RC4

    Starting Lowry

    Giving Reggie Jackson minutes

    🤦🏻‍♂️

McCain should be the starting PG with Maxey out. Lowry should keep his bench role.

Reggie Jackson is not an NBA player anymore. RC4 and even Dowtin should be ahead of him.

Only bright spot so far has been Yabusele. But even he’s out of position at C.

Understood we’re without our best players, but there’s value in giving these minutes to younger players now, in games we’re losing anyway. Nick Nurse is compounding the issue IMO.

    8 games in, still unwatchable.

  5. This is such a tough season because my rational half knows any team would suck ass with two stars missing, but the other half sees 1-7 in the standings and has a ton of trouble squaring that with expectations.

This team will be good once everyone is on the floor. But when will that be? There’s a huge misconception is sports that early season losses count less than late season ones. Untrue! A top 4 seed in the East will probably have around 35 losses. We’re a fifth of the way there already. We basically have to go 46-28 the rest of the way to get there (give or take). And that’s from *right now.* Who knows how many more losses we’ll rack up before the big boys return.

Anything can happen once you get to the playoffs, sure. And if all three stars are healthy for the playoffs we’re as good as anyone. But the math is starting to become a real problem for this squad.
