  1. Opens a roster spot….1 million in cap…healthy scratch…toch wasn't a fan…works for me. Wish him the best…hockey guy said there was a agreement with sprong if he didnt work out nucks would trade him

  2. Sprong was only going to stick here if he scored a lot more than he has. In the end freeing up his cap space was a more valuable commodity than keeping him as a fourth liner or extra forward. Another good move by Allvin.

  3. The offending player should only be allowed back when the injured player returns. It will never happen, but it's the only way the NHL will eliminate these cheap shots.

  4. Stop with the "work in progress" approach. Pettersson's $11.6M is forcing Allvin to hire inexpensive "projects". So many new faces at discount prices that won't move the needle.

  5. Ok you Canuckleheads, lets make sure this Jeannot incident isn't a repeat of the totally ignoramous Bertuzzi Moore retaliation debacle. When they play next someone steps up and fight him.. AND THEN IT"S OVER.
Move da fck along, it's a sport not a teenage grudge match. FFS!

  6. Before the Boeser hit: allow Lekkerimaki to slow cook in the AHL. After the Boeser hit: get him up with the big club, stat!
I love the quick move on Sprong. Good for the team and the player.

  7. Thay are not going to bring up Lekkermaki. I dont care what ya'll say or think. He needs a FULL season in the AHL. No cups of coffee this year. Just let him develope. Everyone saying bring him up, will be complaining and whining when he gets injured, or doesnt play well. Then youll say he was rushed. Its a catch 22. Let Lekkermaki marinate in the minors.
