  1. Well, they played a pretty good game all things considered at least. Just no puck luck at all. That call was also hella bullshit too, but I’m just tired of losing.

  2. We’ve been bad, but the refs 100% decided that game. Idk how you look at that replay in slow mo and multiple angles and agree that it was GTI. That’s not even mentioning all the horseshit calls that went Wash way vs. what was ignored that would have been in our favor. Fucking paid actors, man.

  3. This is the kind of loss that *would* be acceptable if they hadn’t mailed in so many other games. If they played every game this season like that we wouldn’t be tied for last in the league.

  4. Any good prospects coming out of the draft this year? Might as well tank and start the rebuild, this was a failed experiment.

  5. That should have went to OT at least. Watching this game I didn’t think they were as horrible as last game. Some of the passing is still shoddy, but at least we were shooting.

  6. Stamkos is slowly getting better every game. He looked good tonight.

Good show of character by pushing even harder after that nonsense review.

Playing the Pathers on the 2nd of a back to back isn’t ideal but this’ll be good for them to play that team thats not fully stacked with skill but who just hit and play all over you in order to be one of the best teams in the league. It’ll show them how much its gonna take so maybe some lightbulbs will turn on.

  7. Really really have a lot of bullshit in my life. Would be great if my favorite hobby/sport didn’t also constantly hurt me. That said, tonight the boys gave it a lot of heart and that’s for sure.

  8. Trotz talking about rebuilding while saying Josi, Forsberg, Saros, Stamkos, and Marchessault are here to stay and not going anywhere is hilarious.

I bet his phone is ringing off the hook to see if Smith, McCarron, Schenn, Sissons etc. are available.

  9. On the bright side, we’re tied for most likely to receive a #1 pick! But if this officiating is any indication, the lottery would drop us to #16

  10. I know we lost but that was a good game. Lots of improvement there.

Evangelista – Parssisnen – Tomasino looked like a legit identity line. Forechecked hard, won board battles, kept the puck alive. There were 2 shifts there where you actually saw Bruno’s system come alive and work. It was magical!

The only downside is it really seemed like the only thing that was working was shots from the point and tips. They’re just a low probability shot. I’d love to see them start to create high-quality chances from that type of play.

Tomasino looked great, IMO. Fast, had a bunch of shots, wasn’t backing down from physicality.

This is the first game since Boston where it seemed like we were executing the game plan.

  11. I only watched a few minutes but at least it was close, Pars got a goal, and Stamkos is starting to stir.

Stream I found was for the Caps but glad their announcers shouted out and appreciated some of Juice’s work.

  12. Tough to lose on that GI call but sadly the NHL doesn’t have any consistency there. I’m not sure any coach should challenge those. It just ends up wasting two minutes on a PK when you are already trailing. Good to see some positive signs from Stammer and Parsnips though

  13. All that “talent,” and we are literally one away from dead last in the mothableepin league.

  14. Any loss right now hurts because they have dug a really unfortunate hole. Not a loss I am mad at against WSH… only the refs.

  15. All I’m saying is that leaving ovechkin wide open in the slot is not a good game plan. It is, in fact, a terrible game plan. Defensive mistakes have cost this team again

  16. You know they’re gonna go “wow we tried so hard, guess we can go back to mailing it in” then go on a 3 game losing streak. This team’s drive is nonexistent

  17. I’m starting to notice a trend now preds keep losing when I watch the games. I didn’t watch the first two periods because I was coming back from work and then we lose and the other games that I haven’t watched we won. I think I’m going to have to stop watching forever I’m sorry it’s my fault 🙁

  18. 13 games into the season and they are 2nd last by both points and points %. Looks like this season is cooked.
