melton behind him with +6
I mean 14 pts, 7 reb, 4 ast, 4 stl in 26 minutes does say a lot. Diving, flying all over the floor, just an amazing motor.
Edit: Oh, and also just 1 TO and 1 PF. Really hope he can get his outside shot going, that would be the biggest boost to his game.
having a +7 in 19 point loss (arguably a 40 point loss) just tells us that even though his shots are not falling, he still impacts the team positively. At least he makes right reads and hustles on defense even though he’s athletically limited. Wish his shot would soon come though.
Shooting 18.2% from 3 on the season
If he can get the mask off and start making 3s, he will really get cooking.
He looks like he’s learned a lot from CP3 about being a PG, and added some crafty 2-point scoring moves. Tonight brings him to 57.4% from 2. 17.9% from 3.
It might take until next year or 2 years or never happen, but he should even be able to get to the line at some point. That’s still a big weakness.
He literally played most of the 2nd half when the team was winning the quarters LOL. Was it because of him? Well not all him, but he was a part of all of that LOL.
If he played more first quarter minutes, his +/- would have been fucked. Maybe we don’t suck with him in first quarter, who knows LOL.
Dude makes winning plays. But he desperately needs a 4-5 3pt night
+/- don’t really tell the true story, every time he tries a drive in the lane, he’d make a dead play, cease, and pass on to someone. His shooting on the perimeter makes him a worse option as a shooter versus Kuminga which is saying a lot. Against teams with size, his playmaking tanks. It was just that he was on the rotation that made the gap small consisting of Moody, Melton, and Kuminga, which alleviated his weaknesses. On the bright side, he is still the scrappy guard we all know and love.
Pawdz just has that dawg in him
He’s a smart player who always has an impact he needs to find his shot though.
Yo Slo-Mo cant shoot at all. No matter where he is on the floor he sucks at shooting in the motion offense. Disregard the 3 in a row 3pointers vs boston, wide open one-off. He should not be playing minz that we could be giving to Lindy Waters
what’s with his dizzyness though – that’s scary.
He’s shooting 17% from 3, JK is shooting 32 %. GP is shooting 28% and melton is shooting 28%.
This is not sustainable. Warriors need to make a trade. Preferably with all 4. But at least 3 of them.
