Can anyone help me identify these signatures?

  1. Appears to be a team ball from the early 1990s. They appear randomly placed on the ball. Many clubhouse/secreterials autographs would be more line by line and have structure on the ball with placement. These are not that and some are simply too legible and likely non-authentic. For instance, Chili Davis may do his pre-printed signatures for baseball cards that way, but not in person.

    Some easily identifiable ones are…

Rex Hudler, Garret Anderson, Jim Abbott, Tim Wallach

Bryan Harvey, Damian Easley, Mark Langston

    Gary Disarcina, Chili Davis

    Jack Howell

Chuck Finley, JT Snow, Troy Percival

  2. Hey everyone! Figured this may be a fun off season activity. My father passed away a few years ago, and he was a huge Angels fan. I was going through his old stuff, and I found this signed ball. I’ve been doing my best identifying signatures, and figured out that its from the 1996 Angels team, as there appears to be a signature by Jason Grimsley Who only pitched for the Angles on that season.

So far, I think I’ve identified the following signatures:

Photo #1: Don Slaught, Jim Abbot, Chuck McElroy, Tim Wallach, Rex Hudler, [unknown]

Photo #2: [unknown], [unknown], Damion Easley, [unknown], [unknown], Mark Langston

Photo #3: Todd Frohwirth, Shawn Boskie

Photo #4: Randy Velarde, Gary Disarcina, Rich Monteleone, [Mike James?], Chili Davis

Photo #5: Jack Howell and Mark Eichhorn

Photo #6: Chuck Finley, Jorge Fábregas, J. T. Snow, Jason Grimsley, and Troy Percival

  3. These are all facsimile autographs, but still fun to have. I have one from the Padres when I went to a game in 1992.

  4. You *DO* know those are not real signatures, right? This is a mass-produced promo giveaway item from the mid 1990s. I think I have the same (or similar) ball somewhere in my storage.

  5. That is from one of my formative baseball years. Probably no chance you’d be willing to let that ball go, huh?
