  1. We are inconsistent because we don't have a true star who can score anytime he wants. To be honest with you, I am beginning to lose hope in Sengun. He is like Cuttinoy Mobley, a solid NBA player but not a star. I am not yet giving up on Green because he has a lot of upside.

  2. Sengun's issues are temporary. There are three factors that affect his recent performance.

    1. His intensive training this summer changed his muscle memory a bit, so he needs some time to readjust to his new body.

    2. Strength training possibly reduced his flexibility. He used to bend backwards under the rim to open up space for himself. That how he could beat taller centers. He will be able to do his trick again as his body adjust to his new strength.

    3. He seems to have a minor back injury which looked painful in the first three games.

  3. Once again we had no offense once OKC clogged the paint up and how much they were putting pressure on our guards that was it.

We didn’t have any adjustments and since we are not a good shooting team OKC could just clogged the paint up and be aggressive and physical.

This the reason why a lot of people had them coming out the west.

Man it really is rough to watch this team having no offensive identity

  4. Tough to beat OKC in their house coming off first loss. However no excuse for the performance after being tied the first quarter. Gonna stay optimistic until see what happens when they meet in Houston

  5. We are a team that cant shoot in an era where championships are won by 3pt ers. What is worse is that pur guys are cant even cut/move when alp is doubled except maybe tari. Amen used to have free reign in that dunkers spot out of alp passes but ee stopped doing that because we want amen to be a non shooting point guard for some reason.

  6. There seems to be a trend of us getting out coached. You know how crazy Ime gets with lineups when he gets flustered. The difference between us and OKC is the fact we have so many players that can’t get a bucket and they do.

  7. Clog the lane, samething from the warriors game.

Before our game against warriors, warriors already did the same defensive scheme to pelicans for 2 games. These good teams with paint protection is gona trouble us this year

  8. The Whitmore issue 🤯 He stops the ball. C'mon, so does Brooks. you need that man scoring. He’s the only other scorer on the team. Also, his defense isn’t worse than anybody else on the team either. (Besides Tari and Amen) I would say he’s better than Jalen, Reid and Fred defensively, who get bullied around the floor all game. I don't like the new system either. They NEED to play through Segun.

  9. They got Jabari looking like a mannequin on offense. Im honestly getting annoyed with his low usage. When he gets his post ups or coming off screens he's effective.

  10. When teams pack the paint and dare us to shoot we have usually falters. For me it’s bcos Jabari have hugely regressed especially when he was expected to take another leap in terms of 3 points shooting and added to that is that Fred declining. Cam is lacking in confidence, and the best way to solve that problem is not by removing from rotation and sending him to G-league. The coach can psychologically solved it by starting cam whitmore ahead of jabari in one game and challenge him to go in there and kill, to shoot the hell out of basketball. That trust alone can turn the season around for cam. If you look at okc their coach have rotated the shooting guard starting position , sometimes Caruso starts, sometimes Isaiah joe, somtemines, Casey Wallace, sometimes Wiggins starts. So building trust in these players is helping okc. Udoka should copy this and not get stuck with Jabari as a starter all the time

  11. As a fan from Türkiye, i watch Houston games at night because of time difference and go work sleepless and when Alpy doesnt play smart enough i get frustrated…at first game against Wemby and in this game refs started game with easy cheap fouls on Alpy to protect Wemby and Holmgren, they are frenchiese players for NBA and u cant change this ,even if you are right about foul calls nothing will change…just focus your game do not try to def them more than others in team (only 1 foul called S.Adams for example..)and focus on your offence ,use your energy on offence because when u get near them u will be in foul trouble and things will only be worse…Be smart like Jokic and outscore Wemby and Holmgren type players in offence, this game was not about abilities or shots of Alpy it was about focusing the wrong side of the game ,focus should be offence not defence …by the way S. Adams had no foul till 4th qtr and has only 1 foul…u are bacup center use your fouls if you act like though guy which you are not…

  12. Frank, teams arent doubling Sengun because he is dominant/shaq or giannis in the paint, they are doubling him becuase they know our offense is predictable and we dont have shooters. Sengun is shooting 43 percent from the field, and 90 percent of his attempts come from around the rim. Stop trying to make it seem like Sengun just so dominant, teams have to double him and thats not the case, again, he is shooting 43 percent from around the rim as a center, not as a guard but as a CENTER.

  13. My take… bad defense, the gave too many opened 3s and the difference is that OkC can shoot the ball.

Horrific offense…Thompson might be the best athlete in the world, but this is basketball. Luka is the best example of zero athleticism. This is not football, and I can’t believe a person that can’t shoot is in the league.

Reed is either being bad coached, or he is not being aggressive enough. The good is that I can see the great player he is and can be. Sort of like when we saw Sengun first time.

No reason for Thompson to bring the ball and send Reed to the corner to never touch the ball.

    Very disappointing on Ime Udoka.

  14. Thank you Frank. After the Q1, I was expecting a close game up to the but then, our epidemic started. I see that the lack of an organized offense is affecting us as much as the lack of shot making from our players.

We swap OKC players with Rockets players and the Rockets offense in going to automatically improve.

  15. Not having Cam Whitmore is what happened… this was the same thing that was happening against San Antonio the first time we played them until Cam led that comeback
