Fuck the refs but man not a pretty 3rd and end to the game. Didnt need that Byram penalty at all but great kill and shootout win. Officially on another 3 game win streak all thanks to UPL

HUGE fucking game by UPL. He looked amazing in the shootout. And I’m still not convinced that first Flames goal should’ve counted with Gilbert being straight up tackled away from the play beforehand. But whatever, two points is two points.

Not exactly our best game, but hey we get a goal from both of our top line and frankly these afternoon games always seem to be a bit slower for both teams. Happy to see the win streak continue.

We don’t win games like this the past 5 years. Even when we played well, or the refs are doing the best they can to help the other team, we always found a way to blow it. Even in OT, we take a penalty that that would sink us.
Today, we still found a way to 2 points. The fight in this team isn’t like anything I have seen in close to a decade. We look like a proper NHL team out there and we are pulling wins out from the jaws of defeat. 2 points is 2 points no matter how ugly it looked. And now we’re sitting tied for a wild card spot in early November.
