  1. 2-7 isn’t over. Last year team was 2-8 then Tommy Devito led a mighty 3-game win streak that had podcasts talking playoffs. People are all over the damn place.

  2. Stop arguing about, or even commenting on this team until John Mara either sells it or passes away from old age.
He is a third-generation owner who only sees dollar signs and PSL licenses. Mara has no intentions of taking his thumb off of this team, and it shows. This team is pure garbage.

  3. Anthony you’re going out of your way to defend a terrible strategy by Schoen. He should have been negotiating all season..Then, if you felt you had a chance to sign him, you keep him and get it done. Now, he becomes a FA, you’re up against all the other interested teams. All it takes is one team to overpay. Stupid.

  4. This regime needs to go. We regressed every year and it’s been 3 years. I don’t want them touching a qb prospect. You forgot to mention Ben bredeson too. “They wanted Daniels, they know qb talent” so did the rams and the rest of the nfl😂 awful drafts and they choose their qb when the paid jones 160 mil. DONE

  5. Get Rid of Slayton .. his Mid at Best.. and Jones doesn't trust anyone but him to throw too other than Nabers, which makes Jalin Hyatt going to waste as he has a larger upside.

  6. How is it the Steelers are always able to have a pool of good players that replace the ones that get older or so that they always have 2/3ds of a team so the games are actually watchable?

  7. The biggest problem of the Giants is drafting. Banks? Flott? Schmitz? Hyatt? Gray? Thibodeaux? Neal? Robinson? Ezuedu? Two prior draft classes which have had little impact/ or underwhelming impact. Teams don’t improve with below average drafting.

  8. Pls, Josh Allen was a special player and Daboll was along for the ride. Look at them both now; Daboll runs the worst offense in the NFL and Josh is killing it.

  9. It's a buyers market. The way this works is specifically not that you refuse or fail to trade away anyone good while offloading all your trash that nobody wants. Nobody wants the trash. Therefore you either can't trade it or you'll get a firm hand shake and a bad of cheese doodles in return and nothing else. Being unrealistic is how you make a team suck, and how you ensure it continues sucking if it already sucks.

  10. These nutjobs who still support DJ will gladly take him for year 7 and could care less about our cap space as a result of it. That's how deep in the delusion they're in!

  11. They need to sign Azeez like Anthony said. its so hard to get good pass rushers especially rotational ones. If we do not sign him or seemingly have this "lack of interest go ahead and test free agency" approach, Alex will ( Rightfully along with me ) flip his lid.

So, why aren't they having the conversation with him now?

The answer MAYBE is because thanks to Schoen we have a bit of a pickle with QB, and he may be saving his pennies to do what hes going to do next year. He knows, we know, everyone knows getting a real QB priority 1 and everything else is a distant #4. Is he saving cap space for a trade/Signing for a veteran or at least his backup plan if we are not positioned well in the draft?

the Daniel Jones curse is making everything on this team look even worse than it is. The ripple effect from signing him has been catastrophic. And Azeez and Slayton could be 2 more casualties of the ripple.

Speaking of Slayton, he's had his good and bad. Doesn't have the best hands but watching him this year its clear how crafty and consistent he is with his routes, good leader, good playmaker and when I see him "drop" passes, its usually the same flat line "heater" type throw DJ makes. Slayton with a QB that can better navigate the pocket, actual touch throws ( in addition to the heaters to the same curl route ) would be pretty good and I'd expect less drops.

Kayvon I wonder is the real trade bait in the off season. I Like Kayvon. I think he's a good player. But he's not the 5th overall pick we hoped we were getting and is likely going to demand more than he's worth. To get our QB, I just keep feeling like we NEED some trade bait in addition to picks to move to where we need to draft ( or trade ) for our guy and I think Kayvon could be a compelling piece for another team

Back to Slayon again agree with Anthony. He's done with this organization. He has HIGH character and you can usually judge a persons character by how they handle a breakup? He's playing it nice but he is over this. sadly

  12. THE GIANTS DIDN'T MAKE TRADE ANY FREE AGENTS THAT YOU DON'T PLAN RESIGN FOR 2025 AND BEYOND IT'S LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE GOING TO LET THEM LEAVE AND NOT GET ANYTHING FOR THEM LIKE DRAFT PICKS THE GIANTS DIDN'T LEARN FROM LAST YEAR WHEN MCINNY AND BARKLEY LEFT AND THE GIANTS GOT NOTHING FOR THEM!!!!! THIS GM AND HC NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO BUILD A GOOD TEAM AND ROSTER MARA NEEDS TO MAKE CHANGES NOW OR THE GIANTS ARE TOAST

  13. Milroe could be the perfect project for daboll to mold the speed rocket arm leadership ability if we aren’t able to get cam ward or sanders I think Milroe could be the guy but we need to find a Qb to start until he’s ready I don’t have a problem with Nick being cut we’re in a shitty situation it sucks and honestly I think resign azeez get a corner in free agency and draft a wr early if slayton was to leave

  14. Why does Schoen necessarily own the Jones contract? We dont know whether Daboll strongly endorsed keeping Jones after year 1 and at that point Daboll was supposedly the trusted QB whisperer coming off winning coach of the year. Bottom line, we dont know the true dynamic behind the scenes with Daboll, Schoen and Mara despite seeing some of it on Hard Knocks. I also know for a fact that y’all srongly agreed that the contract at the time was logical due to the rising cost of QBs, DJ’s improvement that year, and the built in out after year 2 if he failed.

  15. With the cap steadily rising, and if he remains healthy, he wont sign for only 2 years – especially for only 8-9 Mil. Not sure he's worth it, but there will be a team can and will blow that offer out of the water

  16. I think I am on the Nuss Bus with @Anthony_Rivera. I lot of what I have read and seen about Nussmeire makes him think he would be a good fit. Strong arm, can make all the throws, can throw from multiple angles, quick decision maker, his father is an Ex NFL QB and current QB coach of the Chargers. Most importantly is that he has a rapport with Malik Nabers from their time at LSU together. Nussmeire started games at LSU with Nabers that could be an advantage.

  17. If the Giants had tagged Daniel Jones (which is what Schoen wanted to do) they would have lost Barkley. The only reason Jones got paid was because Barkley didn't take the deal that would have paid him more money to stay with the Giants ( 3 years 39.5 Million Eagles gave him 3 years 37.5 Million). Then Schoen would have tagged Jones without entering in to contract talks. That is why Schoen waited so long trying to resign Barkley. Problem is he toolk so long that he had very little time to negoiate with Jones before the tag deadline. That time crunch is what gave Jones leveragein those talks and how Jones got paid.

  18. Career resurgence what was it 1 game didn't Slayton get cut by the Buccs before the season. He got brought back because of injuries. Since being on the active roster he has played in 7 games has catches in 6 of them. In those 6 games he has 15 catches 159 yards and 1 TD. He has not had more than 4 catches in a game. He only has 1 game with 25 or more yards and that was Monday when he had 48 yards. I wouldn't call that resurgent also Shepard had a serious injury history. We used to joke that he was talented but he was like a pane of glass. As far as Barkley he hasn't done anything he hasn't done with the Giants the biggest difference is the O line in Philly he has one of the best O lines in football. Last season with the Giants he AVG 3.9 yards per carry He AVG 2.0 yards after contect. With the Eagles this year he AVG 5.9 yards per carry but he still is only averaging 2.0 yards after contact per carry. WIth the Eagles OL he AVG 3.9 yards per carry before contact that is why the numbers look great. With the Giants he had a ton of injuries mostly due to getting beat up so much. If Barkley was still a Giant he would not have no where near the success he is having right now.

  19. McKiney would’ve as good because we wouldn’t have gotten Burns & so the coverage would have to last longer. Barkley wouldn’t be as productive because yes our line is better but not as good as those Philly buzzards. So I’m not that upset with them leaving.

  20. Joe Schoen thinks he is the smartest person in the Room…. It started with saquon trade deadline comes and goes no trades are made someone has to figure out upper management and then we can figure out how to put a quality reputable competitive team on the field
