  1. Shawne Merriman mostly due to the PED suspension/injuries. He was a fucking monster his first few years

  2. How about Shawne Merriman?

Really can’t start much better than he did or fall off much faster.

    Speaking specifically football performance.

  3. Desmond King. Its not like he was ever a pisspoor player for us but we replaced him with a better chesspiece DB in derwin and phased him out and he left and never was the same elsewhere

  4. Stan Humphries? I didn’t get to watch much of him because he was “before my time” back before I started watching football, but the man led the team to a Super Bowl and then had his career ended by an injury iirc

  5. Jared Gaither gave a season of All-Pro level left tackle play, got paid, and then decided he was done.

  6. Marcus McNeill? He was a force and a stalwart at LT and then he just fell off a cliff in terms of health and ability

  7. Jason Verrett, first round draft pick. Started off good but injuries kept him from ever finding the field, ultimately leading us to send him packing to San Fran.
