winnable game. TOV cost us as usual
That’s the most moral victory of all victories. Bittersweet, truly!
Great games by Wemby and Steph and Vassell had a big debut. Cant be too sad
Better days are coming
This loss and the Clippers one are so fucking hard to swallow, it makes me mad
Unfortunate way to lose but what a game by Steph! Absolute coming out party for him.
Hard fought game, Vassell is so fucking back, double double from Wemby, Castle is a dawg. GSG.
what an unnecessary loss. refs costed few possessions for us
Ref fans ate pretty fucking good tonight
Jazz are much better than their record indicates but fuck man we should’ve won w a bunch of us playing so well
On Track for 76-6
Definitely a winnable game, just lost on the margins.
GREAT to have Vassell back. Castle that rook, is a bad bad man.
Y’all we got a squad lots to be excited about, this was nothing like last last year!
GO Spurs GO!
damn lol good game. Unlucky but good stuff from wemby castle and dev. So good to have Vassell back
Sucks to lose but the game was still fun to watch. Silver lining is a lot of our players looked good just some bone head plays in the clutch and Sexton having ice in his veins.
Clarkson is such a flop
Well, losing to the Jazz sucks, but on the upside it looks like it took Devin all of five minutes to shake off the rust. Optimistic about the offense being less awful going forward.
Damn. That one stings. Had some great shooting paired with some rough offense, next Jazz game will be a different story. Dev has 0 rust and played fantastic, Castle opened the game up as well. Great things to take away. GSG!
Stephon Castle tonight:
— 23 PTS
— 2 REB
— 3 AST
— 2 STL
WOW. Spurs really drafted Jimmy Butler 2.0
*Why* didn’t the Spurs challenge the out-of-bounds ruling on Castle? We had already called the timeout and hadn’t used any challenges yet. In a close game, every possession matters. That probably cost us the game (well, actually it was the 20 TOVs but still).
1. Stop fouling jumpshooters
2. Welcome back DV. Glad to see you back.
3. DV should start over Julian like by next game already. Keep Castle with the starters.
4. Trade Keldon. How do you score 14, assist for 5 and yet still be a distant team worst -18. Ugh…
5. Mitch, you suck for not challenging that OOB call on Castle when he was clearly still in. Not a good look my dude
6. Time to stress eat
This team really needs what Jeremy has been doing
Tough loss but not mad. Wemby was 6-9 from 3 tonight doe
The refs we’re absolutely ass that game. There we’re like 10 different calls that would have been over turned if Mitch would have challenged them, but for whatever reason he didn’t.
That’s not why we lost though. You’re going to be hard pressed to win a game that you turnover the ball 20 times.
On a brighter note D3VO looks like he’s picking things right where he left off. Wemby finally had a consistently solid game, and Steph castle with his best game of the year.
Biggest take away from this game for me, is that we are SORELY missing Jeremy Sochans presence. Especially defensively.

This was a weird game in the sense that a lot was done right but we still struggled. Gotta get a better grip on turnovers. I like what I saw from Castle, Dev, and Vic though.
All I’ll say is we better not have a succession plan for Mitch to take over for Pop long-term whenever Pop calls it quits. Do a national search.
It was an enjoyable game, with Devin’s return and Castle having his best game yet. Wemby was also pretty great except for the turnovers.
This one kinda felt like a trap game so I was mentally prepared for a loss, all in all it was fun
If we’re just talking about the important guys, everyone in our young core played very well and showed pretty good chemistry. Can’t be mad about that.
We should have won but just about everyone else played poorly. Sucks but it is what it is.
Losing this one felt like a canon event lol we just could not get a lead to save our lives, both pineapple boys were great though!
Castle has an outside shot at rookie of the year.
With Dev back I’m really hoping the offense starts to look better in the next few weeks
Still looked mostly like shit to me today, Wemby and Castle just made more 3s than usual, and then Dev was an awesome spark off the bench
That double block sequence from Wemby w a few mins left was incredible. Such a bummer Clarkson and then Sexton hit those dagger 3s (along w the unfortunate foul from Castle)
Castle’s first 20-point game!
Castle smashed his career high in points, Devin looked elite, and Wemby found his shooting stroke + 7 blocks. I’ll take it.
Having another true C would help this team out sooooo much. The Collins minutes kill us every game
Wemby was great in a lot of areas this game, but only getting 6 shots within the arc and 6 turnovers is a problem
Totally winnable.. I”m supposed to be more upset with the loss but seeing Dev back, Wemby sinking 3s, and Castle masterclass just made me happy. 😂
