😮no way you’re telling me Vando isn’t ramping up and expected back in 2 weeks? How much can one guy “progress”!?

No forreal is the guy ok? Like he’s injured for dam near two years. Like does he have degenerative disease something, respectfully. He’s had legit two off seasons. Maaan is basketball really in his future .
Dlo, vando, Gabe, and max need to be used as trade pieces. Vando is a great role player and fits us but if he can’t stay healthy then we need to move him for a player that can. Best ability is availability
Vando started out as a great piece from that original wolves trade and has since turned into a complete liability. Soaks up a roster spot, never plays, and isn’t definitively good or bad so we don’t even know if we’d be selling low or high if we tried to move him (and realistically would anyone even take him before he plays another game?)
What a disaster. Missed the beginning of last season, played for 2 months, then out again indefinitely. Feels like the same path again this year (or worse).
I’m at a loss for words lately with our Lakers. We really squandered that OG 2020 core alongside AD and Bron and what we have left to support them from a depth + assets standpoint is borderline pitiful. Worst of all, no moves to make. LeBron clearly loves LA so he isn’t going anywhere (but part of me wonders what the Cavs would do if we said he’s available…) and face it, this team as currently constructed is going nowhere. And Bron realistically has 2-3 good/great seasons left, max.
I don’t expect Vando to play until 2025
Yeah thanks Vando for that run in 2023 but time to move on. He needs to be traded asap because dude can’t stay healthy for shit

It was clear to see with that video of Vando putting up shots. Dude is nowhere near ready if his jump shots look like that.

Woods had surgery recently so him being out is not a surprise. Vando is very concerning, seems like the Jazz pulled a fast one on us.

I swear every year we have at least one player who’s “close to making a return” who has some weird ass “injury” that keeps him out the whole season.
Unfortunately they are both going to look like absolute ass for quite some time when they come back too. Just those kind of players, and I am a fan of both
Relying on either guy when projecting the future of this team is just dumb. Assume they’re non contributors going fwd and plan accordingly.
Starting 5 has the second Lakers v Celtics game from last season in episode 6, I believe. Remember how Vando was killing that game? He looked like he was finally 100%. Heal up soon.
