I wouldn’t mind a try at Bohm or Marsh

  1. Bohm for Singer would make a ton of sense, if the royals were willing to go that route

As an arb-eligible bat he’ll be expensive cash-wise, however

  2. Marsh has 3 years of control, 2 more years for Bohm. Castellanos has 2 more years left on his deal.

I’m not a fan of Marsh striking out a third of the time, but he probably has the most value of the 3 (according to bWAR).

If the trade is right, any of the 3 would improve the lineup offensively. I have major worries about Castellanos with -6 outs above average, but there is room in the roster for a DH, but that who knows if/when Salvy needs to move there.

  3. Do not take Marsh away from the Phillies, the Royals already have Pasquentino. But if he has to go somewhere, I’d be the least sad if he goes to the Royals.

  4. I’d take Bohm but not sure Marsh is an upgrade over what we currently have. We need stronger and more reliable sticks in our OF corners.

  5. I like to rebuild teams on MLB The Show, when I did the Royals I signed Profar and traded for Bohm although we didn’t win the WS until Bohm’s contract expired lol.

But honestly I do like this move. I feel Phillies were getting annoyed with him and that’s why they benched him for Edmundo Sosa in the NLDS.
