Barry Bonds game 6 homerun in the 2002 World Series

His game 2 homerun that went a reported 485 feet is often remembered and for good reason, but to me this was my favorite homerun of that series from Bonds. The sound the bat makes

Pretty sure that was found in space
Loved that World Series. Did they even pitch to him again after that at At-Bat?
An amazing hit by modern pharmaceuticals.
Enter Scott Spiezo …
One of the greatest. It’s a shame he thought he needed steroids to be better. He was already great.
I really thought it was wrapped up after this.
Should have been MVP of that WS, easily
This made it 4-0. Surely they won the game and the series right?

Bro… there was HD resolution in 2002. Why the fuck are these clips aged to shitty resolution and fuzziness like they’re 1970’s?
This guy is a hall of famer- before, during and after the juice. It doesn’t matter. Even in the skinny days he was terrific.
I was at this game when I was 13. It was pretty surreal.
My ticket to Game 7 was $110. Those were the days…
He was such a great player. If memory serves me right, didn’t the Angels mount a huge comeback to win this game?
Should be in the hall of Fame, so many players did steroids during that era didn’t even put nearly numbers he did.
Best hitter ever and I’m a dodgers fan.
Sometimes I look at Bonds stats just to remind myself how crazy it was.
Miss this🥲
What a bomb 💣
Was there live for that homerun as i was attending Champman University in Orange, CA and the stadium was 3 miles way. To this day, that was the hardest, farthest ball I’ve ever seen hit. I was sitting in left field seats so I could see the trajectory of the ball and shit you not, it was still on its way up by the time it went over the right field fence. Totally unbelievable .
Need Tim Salmon saying that’s the furthest ball I’ve ever seen hit.
At least that one landed…..
Cheater
They actually lost to the Anaheim angels Los Angeles. 😂
I was just rewatching this series this week. Game 2 was absolutely beautiful!
That bat speed was ridiculous
Thank god for his shitty fielding.
I was there! That hit was like a rocket and I remember my uncle swearing like hell (he hated Bonds). Our team’s comeback and subsequent win was a pleasant surprise. Anyone that saw Bonds knock that one into orbit thought we didn’t have a chance after that.

This was on my 22nd birthday. I was at Outback watching this:)
Barry Bonds took steroids and so I get that we aren’t allowed to praise him. But Barry Bonds is the best hitter I’ve ever seen by a mile. This guy would get 2 pitches to hit in an entire game and hit one of them out of the park. God touched Barry Bonds the same way he touched Griffey. Just a natural prodigy. It’s too bad Bonds couldn’t settle with just being one of the top 10 hitters of all time.
Fully drugged up
Angel Stadium looks better in that configuration than it does now.
