[Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins] HOW ABOUT THAT FOR A FIRST GOAL FROM RUTGER

  1. Looks like Rutger was studying Sidney Crosby highlights. 👀 Hope to see many more like that this season

  2. The Baby Pens win 5-0 against the Rochester Americans! They had a slower start tonight despite scoring twice, the game becoming more even after the mid point. Their record this season improves to 8-3-0-0.

Filip Larsson stopped 36 shots on his first shutout of the season and he was named first star of the game! The Americans were completely goalied and he kept them in the game while they struggled to start.

Rutger McGroarty scored his first of the season and was named second star, while Tristan Broz scored twice, being named third star. Broz is now 6-2-8, having played 11 games!

Matt Nieto scored on his first game while on a conditioning loan with the AHL team and his first game since November last year. The other goal was the opening goal from Andonovski.

  3. Whoever coaches that WBS powerplay needs a promotion to the NHL because it’s fucking fantastic, every time they’re on the PP they look they’re going to score and most of the time they do

    Congratulations to Rutger
