sheesh the eye test says top 10-15
Jalen Carter doesn’t show up much in the box score ut grades out very well in pff due to win rate even when double teamed
I don’t get it, our DBs look fantastic, our LBs have been better than I’ve seen in a LONG time, and this is saying our line is second best in the NFL. So why doesn’t it feel like that? They’ve been playing good, but I just don’t see it.
We’ll see when we play BAL and possible DET
Would like to know if this is adjusted for the inflation from the useless giants
This is why I completely ignore the advanced metrics. These were the guys who claimed bryce huff was a better player than Reddick based on adjusted metrics and advanced stats. PFF are the guys who complain about boxscore watching, but are the guys who never actually watch the games to see how they got there.
Jalen Carter doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet but he’s gotten a lot better at winning vs double teams. Josh Sweat is finally getting back to his old self and Brandon Graham is still playing quite well for his age. Im just disappointed in Jordan Davis not really piecing it all together and seeing less snaps during the season.
lol…no but they’ve played a lot better.
#2?? That’s too high. I think most of our defensive success has come with the emergence of the two rookies and the play of Zach Baun.
I can think of at least 3 teams better off the top of my head. Steelers, Buccaneers, Chiefs. Our DL is certainly playing pretty well but #2?
