Figured some people would find this interesting.

  1. I went on the waiting list 1/31/1997. I just turned 40 in August and received this letter today, I guess this means it’s kinda getting close even though I don’t expect it to happen for close to a decade.

  2. I think the green and gold packages need to end.  I thought they had as they turned over to new ticket holders.

  3. I was surprised to find this out when I was on the waiting list for a single ticket and got this letter. As I was somehow expecting I’d be offered both the Green and Gold packages together, I was disheartened to know that I would only get one or the other.

I called the ticket office and inquired. Turns out you can be on the list more than once! So I designated my current account to get the Gold package and signed up again to eventually get the Green as well.

A few years later, the postcard came in the mail telling me I was *third* on the list for the Gold package, #144 for Green. I received my Gold tickets last year and expected it’d be a few more years until I got my Green tickets, but lo! and behold! I moved all the way up and am now enjoying my Green tickets starting this year, as well.

I’m also on the list twice for two tickets together, but I doubt even the first one for Gold will come up during my lifetime.

The moral of the story: if you’re not already on the list twice, sign up again!

  4. I received gold package tickets in 2021 at the age of 31. Had an uncle put his name in back in the 90s and he died with no next of kin besides his siblings. If you take these tickets it’s a blood oath to speak out against online nonsense saying you’re an old boomer who doesn’t care. If you take them let me know and we can jump you in. Sons of Lombardi.

  5. Do I even bother putting my name on the list if I haven’t signed up and I’m in my twenties?

  6. Heads up if you go on the gold package like I did… everyone on Reddit will say you don’t deserve your tickets.

  7. Fuckin a, I’m only about 6 years behind you, the hope is real!! If you signed for gold, any idea how long you’d be waiting for?

  8. Just got mine this year. Dad put me on the list when I was 8. Thirty years later…..man,I wish he was still here to enjoy them with me!

  9. I got that letter today too. Joined the list back in early 1997 as well. Finally under 9,000. I’ll be 58 in a few weeks. Thinking I need to go Gold if I want to ever see a “season ticket”. 😁

  10. I’m roughly 800 on the list so I’m thinking I’ll get them in a few years. I’m so close man. I’m lucky my mom put me on the list back in the 90’s right after they moved all the games to Lambeau.
