Terry Bradshaw for sure
Terry Bradshaw. Close the question and move on to the next
James Harrison
Has to be Bradshaw. Had a 38% completion rate and 1:4 TD:INT rate his first year.
Man I miss Juju
James Harrison. Guy couldn’t get a roster spot to being a force
TROY POLAMALU
Bradshaw
Bradshaw.
James Harrison honorable mention
Obvious choice is Terry, but James definitely fit the bill. Dude was absolutely ass when he started.

JAMES HARRISON
undrafted out of kent state for being “too short” to play linebacker and not large enough (230lb) to play dline… spent 2 years on and off the practice squad (being released fully THREE TIMES) where he would routinely quit on plays and walk off the field if he didn’t know what he was supposed to do.
he was so bad he got cut and picked up by the ravens (ew)… played in Europe and eventually got cut by them.
came back to the steelers in 2004 after clark haggans got hurt and wound up with that 103 yard int return for td in the 2008 superbowl, 1x defensive player of the year, 2x first team all pros, 2x second team all pros and 5x pro bowls.
pretty special player.
Started great and ended great, Polamalu and Hines and Heath Miller. The fact they played together was a blessing
Polamalu was terrible his rookie year and ended amazing
Harrison
Cam Heyward. Couldn’t crack the starting lineup for a long time, nearly the end of his rookie deal.
Deebo
Chuck Noll.
From 1-13 to 4x super bowl champ
Y’all talkin about Bradshaw, but Harrison could be too. That man got cut from the steelers like 6 times (not too mention other teams) and then became SUPER BOWL MVP and one of the baddest motherfuckers on the field.
JAMES HARRISON. He actually got cut from the team at one point then came back on with the practice squad and worked his way up the active roster to become a certified Steeler legend! This has to be the answer!!!
Terry Bradshaw. Garbage QB starting out, ultimately leading the team to winning 4 Super Bowls
James Harrison. We cut him.
James Harrison
James Harrison for sure.
James Harrison.
It’s the only answer.
The documentary that followed his career was INSANE.
Went from people thinking he would never touch a ball again to a peak that would’ve been hall to fame if he didn’t dick around so hard early in his career.
And be really didn’t dick around. So even that argument is BS.
