  7. maybe it’s because i’m a new fan, but sometimes the utter vitriol baseball fans (not just SF fans) have for each other or other teams is insane to me. i don’t think any other recreational activity can beat the hate baseball fans spew on a daily basis. but i’m pretty sure it’s just reddit. all the non-online baseball fans i know in real life are just … Normal Guys™️

  19. I live on the east coast and he is absolutely HATED in some areas out here. Some people like my boss just hate that he’s so perfect. The play. The dog. The partner. They couldn’t wait to jump on him when Ippei fucked him over. However from my experience, the more northeast you get the more angry, irrational and racist the arguments get.

    I was in New England a month ago and you would not want to hear what was said about him in those corners. I think they can’t fathom the possible greatest baseball player of all time isn’t a white American guy.
