For those of you wondering about the absence of a helmet stripe… In another age, before we were as good as we are now, the head coach mandated that players ‘earned’ their stripes. Some called him a visionary, some called him a head coach, and *some* wanted him to jump into Lake Erie! (He actually did the last one).
I’m not making this up, it literally happened before the 2018 season commenced.
