IDGAF about this anemic pass rush. I’d draft a tackle in the first round with Penix in the wings. This MF’er McGary will cause him to medically retire!
At least we can bring Neilson back once Peterson is fired
The last player to make me nervous about 3 points was Josh Smith.
Well, this is the Saints SB/playoff game this year so they can celebrate.
Not ideal but not a reason to panic either. Lost no ground to Tampa and you looked much better in the second half. Only real concern for me is Koo and fixing such a slow start.
Let’s be real, this team is not winning a playoff game vs the possible matchups we can get. At least not the way they have been, by getting wins due to other teams mistakes.
I’m still under the belief the team got Kirk so we know what we have and if those top 10 picks were going to be traded and a tear down would be committed. Never was a super bowl contender type of situation.
Bad games happen. Regroup and lets move on to the next.
Well that was very very depressing
I dunno what we do about it though, and that’s the part that really sucks
At least the Bucs lost FTB
Defense was shit in the first half and made a couple of good stops. Really hate how it feels like the same story every game.
Koo missing sucks. He’s clearly in his own head.
Kirk was real bad. The int and sack were particularly terrible, and he was throwing the ball as badly as he did in the Seahawks game.
Dunno why we don’t use Pitts more.
Off to see Raheem make up some DQ level bullshit
Played a shitty game. Nothing you can do about it now. Don’t let it compound into a streak. Niners helped us out beating the Sucs. On to Denver. And as always….
FTS.
i miss money matt
Guys what happened 😢
Saints pick got worse. That’s all I am taking away from this
How do you miss 3 FG inside a dome?
Fuck Koo. Bro literally has one job to do, and if he can’t do it send his ass out. Idc how loved he is.
It is so frustrating to watch QBs have all the time in the world in the pocket. In 10 games, I don’t believe we’ve had a single good game by the DL. The defensive plan seems to be hoping that someone makes a play every drive or else they score.
Is Koo getting cut? I don’t think i’ve seen a worse kicker since Brett Maher
Fck Koo that is all
At least the Bucs lost too.
But hey, we lost six before the playoffs in 2016
I want to see stats regarding 1st and 2nd half defense. We perform so much better in the second half. Hell we contained them to 3 points in the 2nd half. But we missed 3 field goals so thats 9 points off the board and then threw that INT with 2 minutes left. We lost ourselves the game. They didn’t beat us, we beat ourselves. Started out too slow and had bad play calling in that first quarter
This team will not win a playoff game if they can’t sack a QB. This is embarrassing.
Walk in yo trap. Do poorly and go back to our trap.
Kirk really ain’t the way we win a Super Bowl. Every time a defender hits him, the ball pops out like Sonic Rings
Koo will be the headline from this game, and fair enough. You can’t go 1/4 as a kicker, it’s a production league – Koo taught me that.
but as I remind you every week, all our woes trickle down from the offence. we are supposed to have an elite offence. Derek Rackley called it a top 5 unit this morning, Greg Olsen repeated the top 5 claim. and yet we’ve put up 30 points in only 3 games, against *the* worst defences.
Koo shouldn’t be attempting 4 field goals a game against the saints. Our defence shouldn’t need to hold a team under 20 points. the elite offence headlined by our $100 million QB is supposed to render that all irrelevant.
Koo is likely to get cut because kirk couldn’t find the end zone, and that sucks for everyone.
Unfortunate that the Saints won, Koo gotta get it together smh.
Koo won games this year and lost this game for sure. Kirk was mid at best today
I think Raheem is doing a good job. He has proven me wrong so far. Division games are tough and funk stuff happens.
Two things: I have no idea why only third string strictly played in preseason and why all the starters where there were questions felt comfortable with no real competition as backup. Mike Hughes has worked out but he has no ability to make a play on a football.
Another guy who never gets competition is Koo. Every camp is breezy street because he know there is no one coming for his job.
The Falcons need to fix this now or their season could be derailed the way the Jets have been,
Penalties fucked up some good drives, Koo had his worst game as a pro, and Kirk played pretty bad. This is still a good team, but we got in our own way.
This winning record we have is clearly the outcome of other NFC south teams being legit bad VS falcons getting better compared last year.
This team is so inconsistent; it’s bad
Koo’s gonna drop to 70.8% completion rate for the year, one of the lowest amongst kickers this season. Might be an overreaction, but maybe it’s time to consider other options.
Not to say the loss was entirely on him. Most of it was, but there were other factors (non-existent pass rush, Kirk playing hot potato when he’s pressured).
At least Tampa lost, but I’m not looking forward to Denver next week…
Losses happen, for sure. But very concerned to see things popping up again and again.
This game is entirely on Koo. Kicker has to be money and needs to be reliable when the offense is having a bad day. He sucks and we need to be working out other kickers
And Minnesota wins with 4 field goals by a kicker they signed this week that had never kicked a FG in the NFL.
Matt Bryant would never 💔💔
Kicking aside. It’s not acceptable to get smoked by a bunch of nobodies that the Saints pulled from their arse last week.
self inflicted wounds cost us this one. shit happens, I just fucking hate when they happen vs the aints
Youngway also missed that last FG vs the Bucs. 4 misses in 2 games. He got to go
At least Tampa also lost.
