Two articles recently about the Off Line needing to defend their QB by confronting defenders who put Burrow on the turf. (Links above) Chris Roling and James Rapien wrote essentially the same articles, even using similar phrasing.
I liked Rapien's bolder headline that included ". . . Even if it Means Getting Fined or Penalized" but felt Roling offered more video evidence. But both are good.
I certainly agree. If referees don't see retaliation by Bengals players on defenders that make late hits on Burrow, they wont be as likely to look for these hits (even though they should be anyway).

Our O line can’t even block… what makes you think they can fight lol
Id love to see some more personal fouls and late hits from both sides of the ball. They play way too soft most of the time and don’t intimidate anyone. Sometimes that 15 yard penalty can make a statement especially if they are teeing off on your damn qb late
I do t care if there’s a personal flag penalty. They hit Joe late like that and you take care of business.
Joe not getting these calls is so frustrating. The late hits were ridiculous.
The “glass eaters” LOL!
It definitely needs to change. The ref gotta protect Burrow. Burrow needs to yell at the refs for letting it happen and not getting a flag. The o-line needs to do something about it and so does Zac. Whatever it takes bc it’s unacceptable
We’re soft 😞 why we can’t win afc north games
Everybody wants this, until your guy gets you a 15 yard penalty in a crucial drive or you guy gets ejected because the ref didn’t see the late hit but he sees the OL go after the defensive player.
Fred Johnson who was on our team for a bit couldn’t be coached or molded into a starter. The Eagles, have him starting right now on a 6-2 team and he’s doing great.
We can’t even develop guys let alone coach already good linemen and put them in the right schemes
