If these are the rights, how much would it be to renew it?

forever until the end of the season bruv. If Toronto was coming off a championship or gunning for one I could see people paying this but we probably wont even see a game of post season basketball this year so this is a rip off.
You would need to pay the $23000 one-time. I am not sure if the cost of the personal seat license is included, which may be on top of this but another one-time cost.
Then you would need to pay for this season seats on top of the $23k, which would be for whatever games are still available from the seller.
Then moving forward you’d own the license to the seats based on you buying season seats every year.
I have uppers but I’m going to estimate those seats are probably at least $10k per seat per year and prices only go up YOY
This is the license to 2 seats. They are yours as long as you buy the season tickets every year. $23k for the licence and then probably $20k each year for the tickets.
I actually sold my season tickets “rights” through MLSE hub this past summer.
The price you’re seeing includes the PSL, but not the fee for the season ticket. (Unless the seller has already paid for this current season and they are including the remaining games for this season. It should say that in the notes, along with the season ticket price.) Personal seat license…which means you “own” those seats. However, you still have to pay the season ticket price each year. More specially, you’re obligated to pay for the season tickets each because you own the seat. You can’t simply decide you don’t want it one year unless you sell the PSL to someone else.
Msle hub is just a faster want to get season tickets if you don’t want to join the waitlist.
I don’t believe you have any protection if they move from Scotiabank arena, would guess grandfathering but no ability to sell it
That price is actually not bad for those seats. I do think as the season progresses, you’ll see them go down further. I remember people selling licenses in the 300s (in 2021) for like $40-$50k.
I
What do you do at 16 that makes you able to afford these???
$280 per seat per game. Depends your financial situation and your lifestyle.
lol
That is just the license. So it gives you the right to buy the season tickets each year. So once you buy the license, season tickets in similar rows are 13,000+ per seat. We pay 31,500 for section 118 similar row (for the pair of tickets), but that has ScotiaClub access which incurs an additional fee.
So you’re looking at this 23,000, plus another 26,000 or so yearly.
It’s mad how much the NBA has priced out normal people
