No no, Warsofsky is delusional. I’ve been watching the sharks for years and I am so surprised that Walman was healthy scratched before Mario Ferraro. Just cause walman had a bad game doesn’t mean he deserves a healthy scratch. Ferraro makes a mistake every single game that affects the game.
Wallman had a bad game,,so what !! Very bad mistake by Yzerman, along with 5 or 6 or …miskakes he's made..as many as Wallman maybe,, I think Wallman reboun;s and will have an other streak of very good play….
Not going to sit here and blame it all on Walman, but as a Wing's fan, it is interesting that in the last two years one of the most mind boggling issues with our defense was the way they would blindly throw pucks up the middle of the ice and blow coverage out front. For the last two years Walman played predominantly with Seider on top pair. This year, while our defense has by no means been good, one noticable difference is that they are NOT blindly throwing pucks up the middle of the ice and the netfront coverage has been much better. Now suddenly Walman is getting benched in San Jose for those exact same things happening. Is it a coincidence or is there more to it? Maybe Stevie did know what he was doing?
Sharks fan here. I have watched every game so far. Walman has been one of the Sharks' best players so far. Dont read too much into this healthy scratch. This is just butthurt Red Wings fans trying to make themselves feel better.
I think he has a gaming addiction problem.
Detroit last season 91 points, Sharks 47 points. The SJ manager must make allot of mistakes. Maybe the SJ makes all the decisions, while Stevie Y has a management team making the decisions to be a competitive team in this parity league.
Walman could be scratched for every game for the rest of the year and that still wouldn't change the fact that Yzerman gave up a draft pick to get rid of Walman's contract and kept Justin Holl when both players make the same amount of money and Holl is still in the lineup lol
We needed his cap space to make a run at big free agents/sign Raymond and seider. Trading him wasn’t the wrong move. I think most wings fans just think we should have gotten something in return rather than attaching a high pick.
videos with titles like this make me wish i never found your channel. sorry, but i'm not sorry.
If they are scratching him, I'll gladly take him back in Detroit. I'll even let you keep the draft pick.
Go, Winterhawks!
And I always agreed with yzerman, lot of yzerman haters on here that are wrong and delusional
You mean Doug Armstrong was right……again
Well, the Wings didn’t sit Charot and Petry when Petry misplayed the puck in the corner and Charot kicked it into the net.
Bloke puts up 9 points sits for 1 game and this video comes 😂 what a meme
I liked Walman, though i only saw the highlights
Not right…He paid out too much money on a contract that he ate shortly after. SY has too many bad contracts….
More poor asset management. You should never pay to get rid of a 12 goal defensman.
Its the Eyesore Plan.
I know he wasnt thrilled about leaving the wings. There was an interview with him that dropped about a month ago that said as much. Thought he had finally found a home. I know I was bummed, gonna miss the griddy. And if Lalonde benched guys for making dumb mistakes we'd only have about 10 players left to play each night.
Walman consistently had lapses in judgement in his own end with the Wings.
This whole scenario tracks.
I thought i seen a comment about no one is bigger than the team and stuff about culture. And then they go on to say its an upper body.. Hope hes ok. Didnt seem from the outside he was a locker room cancer or anything. Ill root for him when hes not playing Wings 🤷🏼
I don't think one blown coverage is going to warrant a coaches decision scratch, especially for the best defenseman they got over there. He must have some character issues.
NO!!! He DID NOT make a good decision!!!!!
Its not for his play its a technicality. Wings lost a gem due to cap reasons no way around it
Nothing worse than every current Wings defenceman has done so far this year.
