VIKINGS-JAGUARS RECAP: Winners & Losers!

It was ugly, but the Minnesota Vikings moved to 7-2 on the season with a 12-7 win on Sunday in DUVAAALLLL over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Here’s the Winners & Losers from the game.

Could left tackle Cam Robinson return to the Minnesota Vikings in 2025? It’s possible.

  1. This team is looking like a kind of opposite 2022 team. We are in these close games except here its the offense dragging the defense down. I just want us to have a stress free domination of another team during this stretch.

  2. I just don't get it. He misses the open receiver so much. I just think how many times there is a wide open receiver that would get a first down and then he throws a pick deep. He really can't see the play developing and has to wait for the guys to be wide open.

  3. Sam Darnold is a big looser ….
If he plays like this next week vs titans vikings will loose …our defense can't win every game for us and our kicker …can't wait to see JJ McCarthy next year …

  4. KOC should bear the brunt of the criticism for this almost loss. Sam has had a couple games where he was off his game and the play calling did not adjust to allow him to settle. I know you want to keep the confidence in your QB but you should not keep calling deep strikes when the defense is giving you 5-8 yard runs, easy screens and 1st downs galore. Accept that, and win the game that way! The 2nd half play calling was totally rigid and kept trying to force something that wasn’t there today. Time of possession was incredibly unbalanced in our favor and we had nothing to show for it. Thank God Romo was on. If that was Detroit on the other side of the ball, we get destroyed.

  5. The first interception should have been negated by a flag of defense pi/holding or illegal contact and just got a lucky bounce. The second interception like you said hit the ground.
I’m alright with being allowed to be physical but it was a bit too blatant …feel like Vikings acted the same the laundry would have been flying out of the refs pockets before could blink.
The one play of picking Vikings player up and body slamming after the whistle was also missed.

Hate to think there’s biases against us but the last few games have been ridiculous

  6. We won without scoring ANY touchdowns, and had 3 INTs inside their 30 yard line.

It's telling how you laid two offensive eggs in consecutive weeks vs bad teams. Sam has a poor 1st half next week he better get yanked or the fan base will turn completely on KOC. Sam won't be here next year, he will.

  7. Don’t want to be too critical of darnold because the reality is that he’s getting paid $10M a year which is high end backup money, and he’s far outplayed his contract for the majority of the season. But it’s also reality that he isn’t good enough to be a consistent starter in the NFL, and certainly not good enough for us to contend. Mentally, he just doesn’t have what it takes to play the position in this league

  8. Agreed, KOC is a solid coach, but his tendencies are so obvious that we become way too predictable. I like KOC, as a coach and a guy that can raley the team, but his play calling shows way too many tendencies, this must stop.

  9. Not saying this as a Vikings fan, but as a NFL fan. The overall officiating across the league is embarrassing. Invest in full time officials that are trained and have to perform to keep their jobs. 85:year old privileged white men do not have the sensory or physical skills to keep up with today's athletes.

  10. Always love the content been a vikes fan since 1998, I had started a YouTube channel after yours but it has nothing to do with sports. I just remember years ago when I was trying to grow my channel and was jealous of how many subscribers you had. So congrats on that. But I have been successful on YouTube with 242k subs and many good videos. But I want to say thanks for keeping me going and breaking down the Vikings for me. P.s. my channel is called “the kinzler bros”

  11. The best things that happened today were that both the Bears and Falcons lost, and the Lions are losing at halftime. Vikings defense did well for the majority of the game, against a mediocre offense, with a fresh backup at QB. Vikings offense ran by Darnold has been getting progressively worse since the second half of the Packers game. The Jaguars defense is bottom of the barrel in the NFL. To not be able to get in the endzone against them, with the receivers they have, plus Aaron Jones, is cringe-worthy. Other teams have been getting better, while the Vikings have been getting worse.

  12. Problem #1 – Darnold hangs on to the ball for way too long. The best QB's release the ball in 2.5 seconds or less. I'm guessing Darnold's average release time is at least 3.5 seconds, and frequently over 4. When he does finally throw, he usually under immense pressure, blocking his vision and obstructing his throws. Hence, the interceptions and errant passes. KOC needs to hammer home the point with Darnold that he needs to release the ball quicker. And the receivers should be told they have 2.5 seconds to get open.
