  1. No one is talking about this, but this is not a strong draft year either. There is no Jayden Daniels, or top offensive player to take over for Aaron Rodgers (Sanders ain't JD). There are not star defensive players. In short, the Jets can't hire a new coach/staff and be good next year. This might take multiple years to fix at this point and I am one of the Joe Douglas proponents. The talent is not the issue, it's the coaching and the owner.

  2. Will Hernandez torn his ACL like 3 weeks ago. He’s also a pretty good player. The strength of the O-line though has been Paris Johnson Jr, Even Brown and Hjalte Froholdt. Also a couple of our corners are pretty good too.

  3. The Jets' defense – AND offense, is SOFT because Robert Saleh made them soft. It's not fixable in a few games. Robert Saleh didn't believe in DISCIPLINE or ACCOUNTABILITY. The main thing that Robert Saleh emphasized was loves and hugs. He was a TERRIBLE HEAD COACH – regardless his Xs and Os expertise in defense play.
—You cannot reverse that marshmallow training in a few games, regardless who takes over.
The Jets' players' mentality is "BE NICE TO ME. DON'T CRITICIZE MY PERFORMANCE."
—Rodgers and Adams have both eluded to Robert Saleh's FEMINIZED mental poison that he injected into the personalities of the entire Jets team.

  4. i agree with bengnino. the only option for johnson is to offer ryan a 5 year contract. make him head coach and gm. ryan wants the job. he has said it publicly. i do not understand why has this not happened already. does anyone agree with me?

  5. Glad someone called out the defense lack of adjustments on the front and commitment to the "the scheme". The scheme for the past 4 years has been getting the doors kicked in on the run game and we NEVER see any adjustments. 5 man front to reduce double teams and keep LB's free? Nope. Actually, having DL maintain gap integrity and not just shoot up the field? Nope. We've been getting cooked on counter/misdirection plays for years. Mobile QB's have a field day against us because of our aggressiveness….All it takes is one good ball fake and Michael Clemens is vacating the edge to whoever wants it. JFM and JJ absences really exposed how bad issues were, but its really on the coaches for just watching the film and thinking we can keep doing the same thing and succeed.
