  1. Hoo boy, I needed this after that god-fucking-awful bears game. That was a mostly complete game as well, sans the third period.

  2. * Teuvo forced a turnover that led to a Dickinson goal.
    * The first 2 periods were fairly low-event.
    * The Wild tied the game after pushing the Hawks throughout the 3rd.
    * Kurashev scored the OT GWG.
    * Mrazek saved 32-of-33.
    * Bedard leads the Hawks with 52 shots on goal this season. None have been off the backhand.

  3. The Hawks are currently tied in points with a west wildcard team

    Edit; Nope, I counted the games wrong, still 2 points out

  4. The Kurashev goal was a beauty. That is the first time the Hawks beat Minnesota in almost 5 years.

  5. Bedard is becoming a complete player on both ends.

    I won’t be surprised someday if he’s on the penalty kill just to get those shorthanded goal opportunities!

  6. I got to bring my kids peewee hockey team to this game – aside from the stress of wrangling a few dozen families, it was a really nice game to see.
    The jumbotron broke down for the third period so there were no player/line states displayed, and they had to call out time left in power plays over the speakers. That was weird.
