1. Why do we seriously have no end of game plays other than give Luka or Kyrie the ball in iso

2. Our ability to shoot some of the dumbest shots while we have the lead in the 4th is just baffling to me

5. A rebound here and there would’ve been the difference in the game.  It’s like some of our players (Hardy) just don’t know the importance of possessions.

11. I’m just tired of Kidd treating the regular season like it’s the pre-season, it always gets the Mavs off to a slow start and it always costs us homecourt advantage in the playoffs. Also come up with some fucking plays, just in general and in ATO situations. Look at the play Spoelstra drew up for the Heat today late in the game that won them the game. Our ATO plays are just try to inbound to Luka/Kyrie and let them take insane contested shots.

12. Luka’s never seen a dagger stepback 3 attempt he didn’t want to take. Drive to the fucking rim for an easier shot or create an advantage? Never heard of her.

16. There’s something fundamentally wrong with this team. I’m getting close to conceding about klay, maybe all the haters were right. I don’t care if he starts seasons slow, clearly his doing something wrong with how bad we get cooked in his minutes.

    Apparently we have the 6th best defence in the league??? Doesn’t feel like it. If a team really wants to score they can do whatever they fucking want against our defence (see the last two crunch times).

    Luka is playing so bad it doesn’t even need to be talked about. Grimes not playing and Dinwiddie getting 20 mins every game is a fucking disgrace.

17. Meh, I think I’m going to take a break for a while. Staying up late to watch them lose all the time isn’t worth it. Hopefully they bounce back sooner than later.

21. Let’s all take into account that we played 2 very good western conference teams without 2 starters and the game came down to seconds on both. Our rotations are rough because that’s what injuries do.

    That said, we 100% need actual end game sets to run rather than just give the ball to Luka or Kyrie and have them send up a 3. Especially with 6 seconds left.

    Also, Kyrie Fucking Irving.

22. -13 in 8 minutes with Omax. Denver has one of the worst benches in the league and they outscored our bench. Kidd refusing to play Grimes especially with our injuries is a crime.

23. Dallas has shown me that we are a LONG way from contending.

24. Brutal stretch right now. Expectations are a hell of a thing, coming off a finals run and Luka looks awful, injuries are killing us and Kidd has no clue on rotations. Not fun to watch the team right now, all we can hope is it turns around

30. We’re not going to win a lot of close games against good teams with Luka playing like this. Dude is our 4th most efficient player 10 games into the season. Not good enough.

31. Lively has been greatly missed. If the goal is the Finals again then the team really needs to work on their defensive communication because the Celtics would still destroy this version of the Mavericks.

32. Feel bad for Kyrie. He’s the only playing balls out every night like he wants to win and everyone else is letting him down.

33. Aside from the mavs role players being complete ass these past few losses, what’s obvious out of all these games that Lively missed is just how bad Gafford is at rebounding compared to him. If you notice, there’s so many easy rebounds that he missed that ended up as offensive rebounds for the other team that just kill momentums.

38. This was a horrible loss for fans esp witnessing an amazing by kyrie. And idk what the refs have against the mavs but im tired of them going after them every game this season. It’s hard to watch this stuff as a fan

41. I was defending Luka and Kidd after the Suns loss but after today’s game I don’t know what to think.
    Last season if it was a clutch game I had full confidence on Dallas winning but this season at least till now looks to be quite the opposite.
    What was that shot by Luka?
    Yes if it goes in Luka Magic and what not but guess what it didn’t, it was unnecessary.
    Yes he had bad shooting nights and he still managed to make that last shot but did he learn nothing against Phoenix.

    You are dinged up and you are still playing and you are what 2/7 at that point? You still put up that shot rather than driving to the basket?

    There is something up with Luka. It’s either he needs time or he needs to work his ass off to get back to his groove.
    This is really disappointing from Luka. He wants to win the MVP and this is how he starts the season? He had a lengthy break in the off season which he should have used judiciously.
    Last year Finals was a cherished memory for all of us, idk man that Hunger to go there again and win is just not radiating from him anymore (idk man if I am making sense anymore, this loss fucking hurts)

    And irdk what Kidd is trying anymore. It just doesn’t make sense. How many games do they need to loose before he bucks up and stop experimenting?

43. The awesome thing about Luka Magic™ is that it seems unbelievable at times how a weird shot will go in. The horrible thing about Luka Magic™ is that when the magic isn’t working, you look stupid…

44. We traded our verticality for 3 pt shooting and that hasn’t been working right now because the 3’s aren’t falling . Just absolutely no one jumps for the rebound this year. Last year Djj and Green were always in the air either grabbing or tipping the ball.

45. Kyrie masterclass ruined.

    Luka wasn’t that bad this game but that three late in the fourth was so unnecessary. Klay needs to find his shot, tbh everybody except Kyrie needs to. Late game execution has been a problem this season, which is unfortunate because they thrived in the clutch last season.

    Nonetheless the Mavs still scored 120+, really the biggest issue currently is defense and rebounding, which is why we need PJ and Lively badly.

46. Geez it’s looking pretty grim at the moment. So stale on offense. Once again though, nothing is won at this time of the season and we showed last season that it’s all about timing your run. So, I’ll reserve judgement. 

47. I would prefer we stumble and learn from these close games early in the season. We do have time to figure it out with kaly, grimes, etc. We do need to win the winnable games though as the west race is too tight.
