thats never a foul on seth curry
That one hurt
so closeeeee omfgg
Terrible look for everyone not named Melo, Miller, and Diabate.
Fought until the end. LaMelo’s that guy. Onto the next one.
Charles Lee might somehow be worse than Steve Clifford at inbound plays. Borrego was underappreciated for his amazing inbound plays
Only the Hornets could lose a game where LaMelo hit such an iconic shot
Fuck man we needed to pull this one out
NEGATIVE: WE LOST TO TIKTOK MAN
POSITIVE: LAMELO IS THAT FREAKING DUDE
NBA refs are the most infuriating refs in all of sports. They literally decide games and it’s so fucking sad to watch sometimes. NBA should be ashamed of how bad they are
i don’t like the way Brandon is being utilized i’m sorry
Beat the pacers by 20, but lose to the sixers who didn’t even have Macey or embiid. I swear you can never think the hornets will win a game
That one hurts, but these games are much more winnable if we run sets on offense and don’t have 300 turnovers in the first half.
They’ve gotta find a way to turn it on before the end of games
Lots of different ways we could have won that game. This was not fun
Can’t start Taj anymore
All of the out of bounds plays looked really awkward. Don’t know if they’re bad drawn up or the team isn’t good at running them
It was Lamelo and a bunch of guys playing. Missed layups, dumb turnovers and other than Diabate no one boxes out for rebounds.
Needed literally anything from Miller in OT to help Lamelo but he was a ghost.
Disappointed in a few things tonight from Coach Lee and Brandon miller
Hey Brandon you wanna join us in ot
Tough loss, especially with LaMelo scoring his career high. Incredible 4Q run down 16 to tie it at 9 seconds left to force OT.
Live by LaMelo, die by LaMelo. We needed Miller to be a little more aggressive in OT to relieve pressure off LaMelo in times like this. Melo made some boneheaded plays right at the end.
Moussa is a rebounding machine, but we knew that already.
McCain can shoot it!
How hard is it really to draw up inbounds plays? Like how do we not have one person on staff whose specific job is just to draw them up??
That 3 to end regulation was crazy at least
Diabaté with some big rebounds, he enters the game with some confidence!
Love the fight but that’s a pretty brutal loss to a team that is made up of has beens and whose best two players were out. If we want to be serious contenders or hell even play-in contenders you’ve got to win those games
I’m so tired of seeing mark in street clothes like wtf is even his status right now
Damn… I was so hoping for a Hornets and Panthers win today…
Paul George sat down for the entire overtime and Brandon Miller honored him by basically not doing anything during that stretch
Well deserved loss. Y’all can complain about refs all you want, but we lost that game with terrible decisions all around.
Someone please get us an actual center while Mark is out because it’s affecting the rest of the team not having one. And for the love of all that is holy, please SOMEONE run an action!!! I think I saw one PnR the entire game. And what’s with the sloppy play? They forget how to play basketball? The most egregious possession was the shot clock violation towards the end of OT where Melo just dribbled in place until there were 5 seconds left on the shot clock. And there were several turnovers that were simply because no one on our team is an offensive threat outside of Lamelo, so everyone on defense knows the ball is going to him, making defense basically free against us. There was a shot clock violation in like the second quarter or something where the ball was just passed around the perimeter the entire time. Didn’t even sniff the paint.
I’m so baffled by this team’s horrid offense. I know key players are out, but tbh we didn’t look much more competent with them in. Blame missed shots and refs all y’all want, but we have ZERO sustainable offense to carry us through droughts, and Lamelo is having to carry so hard that it’s causing our offense to constantly be out of balance and easy to defend. Incredibly frustrating game regardless of outcome, like, I honestly don’t care about how close it was because frankly we deserved to lose that game in every way.
When is Mark Williams coming back, that is my burning question every game that he continues to sit. At least be honest about the timeline!!! It’s so hard to watch these guys play without a 4 or 5, like LaMelo is begging for someone who can catch the ball inside and dunk it and Brandon needs someone who can set a strong pick and roll with him. These guys are showing they are a step above the rest they need at least league average talent around them 😭😭
Fuckin Cody Martin man…let Lowry punk you on the rebound
14-54 from 3. We lost by 2. I’m not saying that’s the only problem, but the reliance on the 3, shooting that poorly, can shoot you out of games.
