Dan Campbell showed some incredible maturity as a coach and leader with this press conference. He acknowledged the mistakes that were made in the game but also insisted that there were things outside of their control AND within that lead to how the game progressed. The Lions didn't play badly, the Texans BALLED OUT and only lost by a field goal. This game could have gone either way at any time and we're lucky to have Bates to save the day.
"It wasn't our day and we still won" is gonna be one of those quotes that shows up in montages later on
